Outreach Volunteer

Outreach Volunteers serve as ambassadors for Hope & Safety Alliance, sharing information about our services and educating the community about intimate partner violence and prevention.

Volunteers participate in events throughout Lane County, including schools, parks, businesses, and community centers. Tasks include setting up outreach tables, engaging with the public, and distributing resources.

Time commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per month, with flexible scheduling.

Programs support volunteer

Programs Support Volunteers help create safe, welcoming spaces for children and youth impacted by domestic violence. Volunteers may assist with childcare while parents meet with advocates, support group activities, and family meals.

This role offers opportunities to promote healthy communication, teach life skills, plan creative activities, and support children and families alongside trained staff.

ADMIN Volunteer

Support our work behind the scenes by assisting with donations, data entry, event preparation, fundraising activities, and general office tasks. Administrative Volunteers also help organize and distribute food and supply boxes and sort donated items such as clothing, household goods, and educational materials.

This role is ideal for organized, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on support and helping families move toward stability and healing.

Crisis and support Line Volunteer

Crisis & Support Line Volunteers provide compassionate, survivor-centered support to individuals seeking help—often during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Volunteers may speak with survivors of intimate partner violence, stalking, or sexual assault, as well as concerned loved ones, community partners, or law enforcement. This role centers on listening, believing, and offering support with care and respect.
